Sambhar RECIPE

Method

Step 1

Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds and let it splutter . Add pinch of Asafoetida powder And 8-10 curry leaves.

Step 2

Now Add chopped Tomato, drumstick and bottle gourd mix cook for a minute . Add 1 teaspoon turmeric Powder, 1 teaspoon chilli powder with 1 tablespoon Ratnaadi sambhar Masala and salt mix well.

Step 3

Add some water, mix cover and cook till vegetables are half done

Step 4

Add Boiled Pigeons peas (Toor Dal) and some water mix and add jaggery/sugar as per your choice cook till vegetables are fully done.

Step 5

Yahh.. Sambhar is ready & its time to serve.
